I used an 8.5 X11 sheet of paper. Step one: Fold the paper in half matching both edges evenly so you have a long strip of paper. Step 2: starting from left to right. Measure in 2 inches and 3/8 and make a mark, continue measuring 2 inches and 3/8 from the first mark and repeat until the folded paper has 4 marks. Again from left to right, make fold at first mark so the first panel fold opens to the left. Close the first panel so the open edges touch the second mark and then fold the closed panel at the second mark. The closed part of the folded panel should meet the third mak. Next fold at the third mark so the right hand side of the paper lays over the folded left panels. Next you will need to fold the last section of the paper at the fourth mark so the right hand panel open ends open to the left and close to the right. To make a cover for the album measure the heighth and width of panels 2 and 3 and add 1/4 inch to each so you have a small amount of the chipboard hanging over to. Next using a bone folder fold and crease the chipboard so the front and back cover ares equal in size. Decorate the album cover as desired and glue to folded pages on the back of panels 2 and 3. from the left. . If you plan on fastening the mini album to a LO; it is not necessary to decorate the back portion of the cover. When completed the album should open from the right side (panels 5, 4,3) side and then open from the left side after that you flip up the folded out section from . You should have a total of 16 sections to mount photos, journaling, etc. Hope this helps.
