Type Text in a Path
Mar 15 2008, 2:55 PM EDT | Post edited: Mar 15 2008, 2:55 PM EDT
I have tried unsuccessfully to type text in a path using Adobe Photoshop 7. I know the instructions inside out & have used them using Adobe CS3 ( that I downloaded on a trial basis) & was successful. Does anyone know if there are different instructions when using Adobe Photoshop 7? I have
1) used elliptical marquee tool 2) made work path from Path palette 3) Chose type tool from toolbox.... The Cursor never changes to a bar no matter where I place it or how slowly I move the cursor. If this feature isn't available in Adobe Photoshop 7 - I need to give it up but if it's possible I'd love to master it. Thanks Kathleen (AKA nanascrapping)

I tried too and then I looked it up in the book I have for Photoshop. Unfortunatly photoshop 7 is not capable of typing text in a path. This is a new feature in CS3. If you have Microsoft Word you can use WordArt to type in a circle and several other shapes. You might want to try that. Hope this helps.

Hi EllenAnne!
Thanks so much for your reply. I later looked it up & found out that was a feature of CS3. Your suggestion about using Microsoft Word was most helpful! Thank you so much! Kathleen
