Storage

I love the units from Michaels and Joannes. I've never seen those at my Joannes & I don't have a Michaels nearby me. I do however have a Hobby Lobby, I just bet they have shelves similiar to that. Michelle, I'm with you on recycling storage containers. 90% of my containers r recycled. I even found a wire rack with 4 slim wire bins and 2 larger plastic bins/ drawers out for the trash. (I do not consider myself a 'dumpster diver') I couldn't help but check it out and the only thing really wrong was a little rust spots on the corners. These go for big money here! 7  out of 8 found this valuable. Do you?

I would love to know what you store in all your cabinets & drawers and what sizes they are, I would love to copy alot of your ideas if you don't mind. Also where do you store all your photos? I am looking to slowly redo my scrapbook room making it more organized & user friendly. I would love to learn how you did yours. Thanks so much for any help you could give me.

I have in my wire drawers; layouts in progress, another wire drawer paper piecing patterns, another; my 10yr olds works in progress. Another misc. items kinda my free for all (this is where I put stuff that needs to be "filed" things I've recently purchased that need put away.) The larger plastic bins I have my scrap papers and the 2nd one I have odds and ends stickers. I have a large boot box that I keep chop board accents (letters, tags etc) I have an 8 1/2 x 11 plastic file folder that I have some smaller mulberry paper in and a 12 x 12 that I keep larger mulberry in; these are both color tabbed. I have the wire cubes (look like milk crates) this I have file folders in with my paper separated in. One of these cubes has a tub with stencils and my dies for my quickutz hand die tool the other has my mulberry file system and note books sitting in one. the bottom one has my dvd's and vcr tapes. I have a wall organizer I have sewn with several pockets whic hangs about the cubes that houses my tools. This I created out of an old table cloth and some vinyl. I have 3 pair of shelves hanging on my wall one set of shelves has my paints my dvr player and a few larger works in progress (paint can, shadow box etc.) the other have a coffee can full of pom poms, a tin full of paper pieces (made but not used yet) etc. I am running out of room but you get the general idea. My photos I must admit are also in need of storage. I have them in the photo shoe box type of boxes. I have to mention my metal sign! I wanted to purchase the metal piece which holds the little round magnetic backed brad, eyelet holders but too expen. so I found a metal sign for like $3.00 and saved min tins and round plastic containers and hot glues old recycled magnets on the backs and it works like a charm.. Happy organizing. If you get HGTV watch Mission Organization, I have gotten several storage ideas there. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
