I have a set of Staedtler ergosoft 24 coloured pencils that I love. The leads are softer than most pencils or colored pencils and I find that makes it easier with which to color and blend. The box has a lid that creates a stand-up box. I bought mine in one of the local office supply stores.

My favorite colored pencils are Berol Prismacolor.They can usually be found in art stores and they are a dream to work with!! They blend well and provide an even coverage. I use them with my stamps, to color in pen doodles...I love them!
