A. The glue stick is a very common adhesive. There are PRO's and CON's. CONS: I don't recommend that you put it over a wide spread area and it can also cause your scrapbook paper to become crinkled. For example, if you want to adhere a photo to your page you can use a glue stick if you put it on the 4 corners or just apply it to the sides of the photograph.
PROS: It works great if you use a punch. I have 3 daisy punchs 1, 1.5 & 2 inch. I put one on top of the other and use a glue stick to keep them there. I have an alphabet punch set and that also works great.
B. Liquid Glue: Adhesive packaged in bottle, tube and they even come in a pen format for precision gluing. CONS: Never put liquid glue under a photograph. It can cause your scrapbook paper to
Another project you can do with liquid glue.
C. Mounting squares.
This is what is used 95 % of the time. Easy mounting squares. They come in 250, 500 count. Temporary and permanent . This is what you should use when putting photo's on scrapbook paper and so on.
D. Glue dots are pressure-sensitive dots that are available in several sizes and thicknesses to provide a very strong hold for anything from ribbon to heavy accents. The large dots are somewhat bulky so if you
F. Spray Adhesive- This is an aerosol spray that provides even coverage. Ideal for large projects or sheer material when you don't want the adhesive to show. That means that it's a great solution to securing vellum on your scrapbook page.
G. Silicone Dimensional Adhesive is a great way to create 3 D
H. Use this to raise elements off of your scrapbook page. You can cut them to any length.
I. Double Sided Tape-If you want to attach elements flat to a page but like the idea of being able to cut things to your desired length, double sided tape is a good way to go. Its quick and easy to put a page together, many types are repositionable like photo squares, and you aren't left with individual backings to peel off. There are many different brands of double sided tape; some come right on dispensers, there are dollar store varieties that are archival safe however you should always double check if you are unsure. One thing to keep in mind when purchasing double sided tape is that some stores will have the same product with 2 labels; one saying "scrapbook tape" and the other "acid free double sided". The products are exactly the same, but are usually in different sections and have different prices, particularly in large department stores.
Cons: There are types that are "repositionable" however if you change your mind about a using a picture, it will come off the paper, but the tape stays on the back of the picture.
