What's your favorite scrapbook project you've completed?

January-October

To commemorate the past year 2007 I created a calendar for 2008 with "one-year-ago" pics. I know it will be hard (depressing!!) to look at my girls
one year ago and realize hoe much they've grown, but at the same time it will be good to remember good old times and keep hoping for
new discoveries and milestones in their young lives!

What's your favorite scrapbook project you've completed? - Scrapbooks

My favorite album is a Heritage Scrapbook Album. I took
beautiful Layouts. See some of them below.
my grandmother's old photographs and created

The sizes of the photo and matting revolved around the metal ring around the photo. It's 4 inches in diameter So I added 1/4 inch to both sides to create the double matting. I used a border punch on the creme colored paper down the center of the layout. Then I took the left over flowers from that punch and added them to the outer matting. I then used an alphabet punch to create the title around the photo. I added some brads and the date to finish.

I used some vellum,. border punch, paper and flower punches to create this one. I double matted the photo with coordinating papers. I used the border punch once again, on the vellum at the top. I added the title which was printed off the computer. The font is called Edwardian Script ITC. I also matted that. I then used a daisy punch and added them on the sides of the title. The flowers you see at the bottom of the layout, I cut them out of another papers. There are 4 layers. I added foam squares to raise them up.

This is a layout of my grandmother's first year of school. She's the one in the front center.

I used vellum to hold the photograph and the journaling. I double matted the photo with coordinating papers. I printed the journaling off of my computer. The font is called Annie BTN.
I attached 4 brads. For the squares at the bottom I took a square template. The flowers were from a stamp. The original stamp had a double circle around the flowers. Since I only wanted the flowers stamped, I took a black markers and rubbed it over the flowers. After stamping the paper I took colored pencils and filled it in. Font: Annie BTN

This photograph is of my great grandmother. This is the only picture I have of her. She had 12 children. One of them is my grandmother.

I love the border punch so I used it on all sides of the paper. I laid it on top of the background paper. I created the 6 1 inch square again with the square template. I added a hint of purple. I added some more daisy punches. 1 & 1.5 inch. I then put the squares togethor. I double matted the photo and under it I did a little heat embossing and added 2 brads. See the journaling at the top, it tucks back behind the paper. That element was a digital one. I printed it out after typing the journaling on it. Font: Cameo Appearance

This was one of my favorite pages. Cristina's first Halloween. I thought the black background was appropriate for the Dramatic factor. But as you can see Cristina is on her way to lots of drama on her own!
