I bought this ribbon rack...for 24.99 from a local crafter. I love it! It holds tons of ribbon, is totally customizable, and best of all portable. I can take it to my work space, put it away when I'm done or throw it in my bag to go to a crop. It also has a nifty little bonus, he put a magnet on the base to hold the common pins you may use to keep your ribbon from unraveling. Pretty darn clever if you ask me! He is now selling them on Ebay... The name of his business is Creative Visions. FYI :) If you need more info...email me, I grabbed his business card!

I want to thank the poster for the Michaels idea! I rec'd gifts cards from there for Mothers Day and bought several of the items. With the 40% off coupon, I was able to stretch my gift cards. Also, when they gave me my receipt, another 40% coupon was printed off. Fortunatly, I live close to the store, so I can go every day, if I want and use many coupons! My daughters also save theirs from the newspaper and give to me. My husband made a large closet in a bedroom for my "craft room" , so these are ideal for a small space. FYI: You can also use JoAnns coupons at Michaels and visa versa. I also just saw Target has, I believe it is CRAFTMATE storage solutions. I too, use the plastic bags, curtains come in, for my clear stamps. The little hangers are ideal to hang on the (wire) rod in the closet!

http://theoriginalscrapbox.com has a really cool EZ View Desk. They also offer an option to just buy the desk top for those of us on a budget. The entire desk top is clear so you can see what's in your drawers.
They also have a cool Ribbon Box that's under $20 and it holds 27 spools of ribbon.

I would love to know what you store in all your cabinets & drawers and what sizes they are, I would love to copy alot of your ideas if you don't mind. Also where do you store all your photos? I am looking to slowly redo my scrapbook room making it more organized & user friendly. I would love to learn how you did yours. Thanks so much for any help you could give me.

I live in an apartment and space can be limited. I bought an inexpensive 7-drawer plastic unit on wheels for storage (Office Depot) and I use a card table to scrap on. When I'm done I simply fold the table up and roll the drawers into an available corner. Keeps everything nice and neat and easy to move when necessary.

Have you thought about purchasing a CROP wheeled bag? I have one and I absolutely love it when I need to organize my things for an "Away" scrap night. It holds paper, stamps, scissors, pencils, ink pads. Almost everything you need! I like the ideas of the baskets also. You could also invest in one of those cubbies that they sell at Target or Walmart. They have 6 openings and you can add the baskets for only $5.99 each. I have one and I keep all of my computer paper, picture paper, adhesives, camera stuff and misc in them. They are great storage options for small spaces. I also have my printer sitting on top of it so it doubles the use of it! I'll enclose a picture so that you know what I'm taling about. Hope this helps! Oh yes, as far as a table goes, my grandkids just pull out the TV trays and use those!

I recommend looking at some Longaberger Baskets! I'm a consultant and LOVE using them for storing & transporting LOTS of stuff! The nice thing about them is they're VERY sturdy & durable (lasting generations!) and come in lots of shapes & sizes. If you get ones with lids, they can stack into your small attic space, but still look very attractive! Many have handles that make your transporting simple! :-) GOOD LUCK!
if you'd like to look, you can see them at www.longaberger.com/sharonblackwell

I love the units from Michaels and Joannes. I've never seen those at my Joannes & I don't have a Michaels nearby me. I do however have a Hobby Lobby, I just bet they have shelves similiar to that. Michelle, I'm with you on recycling storage containers. 90% of my containers r recycled. I even found a wire rack with 4 slim wire bins and 2 larger plastic bins/ drawers out for the trash. (I do not consider myself a 'dumpster diver') I couldn't help but check it out and the only thing really wrong was a little rust spots on the corners. These go for big money here!
