Stencils are a great way to decorate your scrapbook papers. You can use them to/with:
Using Chalk
|
First, a make-up applicator or cotton swab can be used to blend over the chalked surface. This technique creates soft color and minimizes the amount of chalk needed. Cross applies more at the edges of a die-cut (to create dimension), then moves inward toward the center.
Create a more defined appearance by using a template or stencil with chalks. By holding the template firmly in place, the letters will have soft color, but more-defined shapes.
Metallic creams can be added to die-cut edges for sparkling definition.
