My friend and I took a road trip from S. Florida to the Chicago, Ill area in August. While driving home, we saw signs for "Metropolis, Ill. the home of Superman." We both knew we had to stop and check it out. Here I am at the edge of town in front of the sign welcoming visitors to Metropolis. In the town square is a larger than life statue of the "Man of Steel." Very campy. Photos are not cooperating. I will add as soon as they are working again. Thanks.
The first night of our trip to Colorado we stayed in Idaho Springs, Colorado. The Heritage Inn is a lovely place to stay and has a babbling brook running behind it. The room we stayed in has a walk-out patio and I spent time heritage inn Idaho Springs, Co.out there reading my newest Scrapbooks Etc. magazine.
Sad tale to tell. I packed my Scrapbooks Etc magazine in my checked-in luggage to take with me to Hawaii. I had planned on
having my picture taken with the magazine but........the airline had other ideas. THEY LOST MY CHECKED IN LUGGAGE. So I do not have a picture of me with the Scrapbooks Etc. magazine. I was so upset, but thought I would post that I did plan on having a picture of me with my magazine standing on the Waikiki shore.
For my son's 13th birthday he wanted me to take him to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. I took my January 2008 issue of Scrapbooks etc. to get ideas on scrapping our winter trip and to pass the time as he looked at EVERY piece of memorabilia.

Mother's Day this year was very special for my husband and I. Our daughter
and her husband took us to Branson, Mo. While there we took in several
shows. My favorite one was the Dixie Stampede. We arrived early and while
waiting for the doors to open, I read my newest edition of Scrapbooks Etc. I
chose this spot for my photo of me holding my magazine because I like both
flowers and butterflies.http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s29/kiethann/sbedxieresized.jpg
Elephant Butte Lake
My husband, my family, and I spend many hours on the beaches of Elephant Butte Lake in southern New Mexico.
An avid scrapbooker and photographer, I seldom go anywhere without bringing along scrapping
supplies and one of my most favored magazines, Scrapbooks, etc. My husband captured a moment of reverie for
me...a break from the sun and "water games"...under the awning of our RV. Who would think a necessary staple
for camping would include your delightful magazine! I have taken it south to San Carlos, Mexico and as far north as
Reno, NV. Thanks for completing my world!
Scrapbook & Us
How much fun is to take photos and think about scraping them. We spend some time in San Juan, Puerto Rico this pass summer and scrapbook etc, was with us all the time. Thank you Scrapbook etc.
My husband has a work conference in Washington D.C. this year and I finally got to go with him for a mini vacation away from the kids! Our kids are 7, 5 and almost 3 and we've never been away from them for more than a couple of days so this was a much needed break for me. I also do daycare so my house is always full of little ones. Anyway, with my hubby in meetings all day I had plenty of down time. I took all my new scrapbook magazines including Scrapbook Etc. which I read cover to cover at least twice. Washington D.C. has to be the coolest place I've ever been and I can't wait to order all my prints and do a D.C. scrapbook! Thanks Scrapbook Etc. for an AWESOME magazine!!!
