Hi everyone!

For those who are not familiar with On Assignment, here's a little info about it... In each issue, 2 designers and I take on a fun, but often challenging, assignment. The assignment is different in every issue - you never know what's coming next - so check it out and see what top designers we asked to join me in the assignment.

For the October issue, we gave 2 fabulous designers, Amy Licht and Renee Villalobos Campa, a very fun assignment. Both of these gals are so talented, I greatly admire their creativity, so I knew they would do a great job no matter what challenge we gave them.

We asked Amy and Renee to go into their stash of tools and supplies and create a page using buttons, stickers, and their die-cutting machine. I think many (probably most) scrapbookers have these 3 things. I have a huge stash of buttons and more stickers than I will ever admit. So I was more than happy to do an assignment that would use some of these supplies (though, truthfully, it hardly made a dent, LOL!). I also love die cuts and paper piecing so I've collected several die cut machines over the years: Sizzix, Ellison's Big Kick, Quickutz, Cricut and Accucut.

Here's the page that I created for On Assignment in the October issue. To be honest, I couldn't find any pictures that I wanted to use for this page, so I asked my boys to go into the living room and take some pictures for me. For some reason (I can't remember) they were in a very silly mood and just wouldn't stand still for a picture. So, as I often do, I just let them play and I hoped that from all the pictures I was taking, I would find a few (or at least one) that I like. Well, I found one, LOL! But the other pictures were fun and were very telling of my boy's personalities, so I decided to use several of the "outtakes" too.
