Iris FoldingThis is a featured page

Witch CardIris folding is a paper art technique that allows you to create fun, quirky or elegant designs using folded paper. Iris folding papers can be any paper that is light enough to avoid undue bulk. Scrapbook paper, origami papers, and even ribbon are good choices. Heavy paper and card stock do not work as well.

Iris folding creates an unusual shape, usually in the middle of the design. This is called the iris. You can fill it with a small picture, such as a person's face, or you can fill it with contrasting colored paper or cloth.
