1. Collect your tools: clear resist ink, color ink, rubber stamp, brayer, paper.










2. Coat the stamp using the resist ink and apply to the paper. Press evenly to ensure a clear image.











3. Roll the brayer across the color inkpad and apply over the stamped image. The resist ink repels the color ink and reveals the hue of the paper. Use a soft cloth to wipe away excess color ink if desired.











4. Choose high-contrast paper and ink colors for bold style; colors closer in value offer a tone-on-tone look. For a more dimensional effect, stamp and heat-emboss the image before applying the color ink. The color ink won’t stick to the embossed design.
