1.Open a new document in your image-editing software, and create a new layer. Select the brush tool, open your brushes palette (Window>> Brushes), and click on the brush you want to use. Move your brush over your document and click to stamp it.






2.Open a patterned paper and drag it onto your document. Make sure the paper layer is directly above the brush layer. With the paper layer selected, click Layer>>Create Clipping Mask. Your patterned paper will take the shape of the brush in the layer below it.






3. With the patterned-paper layer selected, select Layer>>Merge Down to merge the two layers.
