How-To Do a Blender Pen Transfer - ScrapbooksWhat you’ll need: photocopied image, cardstock, low-tack tape (painter’s tape or masking tape), Xylene-base blender pen, burnishing tool (bone or folder spoon).

1.Place your photocopied image facedown on cardstock. (Ink-jet prints will not work for this technique.) Use low-tack tape to hold the image in place if you’re worried about slipping.

until the paper is saturated. Xylene-base blender pens have a
strong smell, so be sure to work in a well-ventilated area.









How-To Do a Blender Pen Transfer - Scrapbooks3.Burnish the back of the image, making sure to cover each area of the print. Carefully lift one corner of the photocopied image to check your progress, and repeat with the blender pen until you’ve achieved the desired effect.
