Many scrapartists enjoy creating small journals and mini albums. Binding the books is often accomplished by punching holes at intervals and then binding with ribbon, fiber, string, twine or binder rings. Other scrapartists use wire bindings, possibly taking the item to a service to have the project bound, or perhaps using one of the home binding systems available.
The Zutter Bind-it-All

This paper craft tool punches holes and adds a line of wire binding to a project. The tool punches through layers of card stock, papers, acrylic, chipboard, book board and even CDs. This link show a Video Demonstration of the Zutter Bind-it-All in action
